Posting photos - impossible

I am trying to post some photos and have looked at the instructions on how to post photos. I have gone to "new Topic" (post a new thread) , entered my text. then the instructions say that there is a button on the bottom row of icons, third from the left. However, the graphic that they show, shows up differently on my page then their example, and I do not have a second row of icons. I don't see any way of attaching a photo. Need help....thanks

Are you trying to ad a pic from your computer or a pic that is already online?

Where is it located?

Is it a .jpg or gif

there is supposed to a paperclip in the tool bar https://www.talkofthevillages.com/fo...tor/attach.gif, the admin has to fix this setting it appears to be set to off at the moment, perhaps overlooked on this new look.

Send an email to admin, it not you!

When I reply to this post these is a paperclip. It is to the right of the Smiley Face. There is no paper clip on a Quick Reply.

Where are you looking at for the paperclip?

Z

Z, I don't have a paper clip for post reply. It's not there for either color format.

Care to share yours? :D

Not showing on my screen in FF, but shows on default format.

I quoted your post and it is right below Message: next to the Smiley face. And it is there in both the green and the original blue formats.

jimbo2012 06-04-2012 07:45 PM

what browser are you using?

I assume FF is FireFox. It is there in Chrome and the standard IE9. It is also there in my version of Firefox

It's not on my iPad, Z. haven't checked my laptop. I love that little paper clip, saves me the trouble of putting pictures on PhotoBucket. Will go check my computer right now.

I love the paperclip also. I gave up on PhotoBucket a long time ago. Let me know if it there on your laptop,

NOW I feel better. What browser do you use on the IPad?
Z

jimbo2012 06-04-2012 07:58 PM

Yes FF = Firefox

It works on IE, so there's an incompatability issue with FF, the Admin needs to check this with vBulletin

It works in the default format in FF but not the new one
