ez go controler upgrade
 

Interested in investing in a new EZ GO 2FIVE EXCEED..(Because of elec. cart going up to 150mile). Can I put in a Sevcon Gen4 size 10 800vdc Controller to replace the 400 vdc?...I know i'll need 2 gage cable upgrade...Should I also purchase stronger motor..Any info APPRECIATED....

Ps..I know, ez go probably won't factory upgrade..I would be paying the bill..

This model is new on the street and I have limited resources about the cart at present.

General coments about your request are: The Sevcon system will leave you somewhat limited in programing that controller without the software, that is not easy to get unless you are a Sevcon dealer.

SEVCON 400 is whats on THE NEW cart NOW..
I don't care what brand of controller...CURTIS 650 would be even better...
What ever co. that does the install of up grade will have program...thanks....
