question about miniatyre roses?
 

We bought a potted miniature rose, 12-15 inches high very bushy with about a dozen buds.

Prior to opening all the way everything looked great/healthy. Flower looked to be the pale white or whitish yellow. Then when they started to open all the edges started to get that rust, not supposed to be that way look. The flowers are now full open and are predominantly the not healthy looking, rusty/brown.....almost freezer burnt look (neve been exposed to any cold.

What do you think?

Tear one of the partially opened buds a bit by peeling off a petal and look for very tiny white bugs. Thripes is their name, and if you see them then they're famous for what you've described. Any good insecticide will take care of them. Lady Goodwife like her homemade soap, I like Neem Oil. Once a week for a month should do it, but keep an eye open because those little suckers (pun intended) will come back and are hard to keep away. Good luck!
