Heat/AC in Lanai
Any questions I should be asking when I get my estimates to put heat/ac in my lanai?

RJN!
One option you may want to consider is looking at the portable AC units that Lowes or Home Depot sells. They run $350-$800 and have all different BTU ranges for cooling depending on how big your lanai is. Some also have a heating element. This may be a cost effective way to provide heat/AIR in your lanai without tapping into your existing house system. |
Ask if your present system can support having ducts run to the lanai before you upgrade your system. Sometimes you can stretch the AC you have to one more room, sometimes you cannot.
