Cool-N-Save ?
 

Anyone tried this cool-n-save product? It is supposed to cool the intake air temperature and reduce your electric bills for air conditioning.
If yes what's your experience? It is expensive to buy and the filters are about $100 a year so I would like some imput before I plunk down my money.
Online reviews go both ways. Thanks!

just got my seco bill and it has a warning about being scammed by engery saving products

Just checked out reviews and I can't find one that has anything good to say. Seems that the hard water leaves a lime deposit and at least 2 people had to replace the A/C system. Others complained also about a "muddy mess" around the A/c unit from the misters and everyone mentioned defective parts and an inability to access the company, even sold through Amazon. Some had complained to BBB. Will scratch that off the list of potential purchases and wait for a better mousetrap!
