Kudos to Chuck Farrell A/C contractor

Just wanted to relate that I was called by the neighbour who is looking after our CYV while we are up in Canada. He was concerned that the temp in the house was about 91 and he thought the A/C wasn't working. We had a dehumidistat installed in 2010 and it was set at 55 degrees and the thermostat was set at 81.

I called Chuck Farrell at 6:30 pm and he answered and I told him my situation and he told me how to test it out by turning the dehumidistat to ON and seeing if the A/C would kick in. He said that if it didn't then I could call again and he would be over tomorrow morning to check it out.

I called my neighbour with the instructions and he confirmed that in fact the A/C did kick in so it is working. He was concerned about the high temp but I was told not to worry about that as the humidity is what damages the place and causes mold. And I can imagine the electricity that is being saved with this arrangement.

So Chuck is definitely my go to person for any A/C problems and I know that he has been mentioned many time on TOTV . Thanks for sharing the info as that is why I called him.

Totally agree. I've found Chuck and his crew to be a joy to work with -- honest, ethical and reasonable.

Absolutely! I've posted two stories in the past about how Chuck and Co bailed me out and charged less than neighbors with the same problems paid other companies.

Ijusluvit when I can recommend a company enthusiastically!!

You need to post this thread under contractors and service, having said that Chuck is from the old school of service.I had him out to service my ac which was blowing hot air .A week later i had the same problem,he came out that evening,no service charge and billed me only for the parts,at his cost.Being in the real estate business for over 35 years i've found very few service people with his integrity and concern for excellent customer service and immediate response to call backs. Now forget everything i just said,or i'll never get him back again because you will all be calling him.

My air was not cooling the house. I called Chuck at 9:30 am.
I am writing this at 10:42 AM; problem repaired. Definitely will be my A/C Heating company from now on!
