Best route to the airport
 

Visiting my home in TV soon. What is the best route to drive to the airport from TV? Did I hear right that there are new shortcuts off 466a?

My preferred route is...
 

IMHO - this is the route I prefer...

Fl. Tpke to 301 in Wildwood....

Take right onto 44 at light then left onto Buena Vista!
(Powell at Brownwood has been blocked off for the past month or 2! - Used to go up Powell to 44A)

Just so there's no confusion...which airport?

When coming from the Orlando Airport, I take the Leesburg exit off the FTP and go straight up 27. It really depends on which side of TV you live. I live right off 441/27.

I live in Amelia and go the Leesburg way taking a shortcut in Fruitland Park that avoids most of the lights in Leesburg. It is shorter by a few miles and faster than going to Wildwood. Have done both several times and compared.

Yes, Orlando airport.

I don't think there is a right way if there is a accident and they close the road, but we use 466a turn at the church of christ to 310 and connet with the tunpike
