We are selling (2) houses up north and would like to buy (2) in the villages near each other for us and mother in law. Is there a way to compare or see house locations between VLS, MLS, sale by owner on the same page?

bruce - since the vls and mls are mutually exclusive of each other, i think you would have to prepare your own spread sheet with the info.

The short answer is: no.
The medium answer is: not that I'm aware of.

Use Mozilla Firefox as your browser, install the add on "map this", then go to the listing highlight the address, right click, select "map this" and it will open a new window with a map of the highlighted address. Do the next house and you will just have to flip tabs to see both homes on the map. Very easy to tell how close together they are.

We own two homes very close together because we wanted a golf car garage and could not add one to our home. We were going to buy a larger home with one, probably a premier, but instead we bought the second home less then a 1 minute walk away. Now we have 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, four car garage, golf cart garage, and can rent it when we don't need it for guests. I put up a wall between the main garage and golf cart garage so that is always ours. And the two homes cost less then the premier we wanted.

You can click on "street" on thevillages.com We have two sibling pairs in our new neighborhood. I think that is so nice to have family closeby.

Even if you find two house in different villages its only a quick golf cart ride away
