Just shake my head

The Romney campaign has requested that Rick Scott quit blowing his horn and talking about the reduction in jobless rate in Florida. Why? People might actually get some optimism that things are getting better under Obama. It would be blasphemy to actually impart anything positive about the US of A while Obama is President. HE MUST FAIL. :cus:

It's more than bothersome that Romney's entire campaign is based only on criticizing what Obama has done (and lots of stuff he hasn't done too!).

When are we going to hear with any specificity what Romney plans to do if elected?
  • After almost a week of criticizing Obama's executive order on immigration, Romney still hasn't answered the simple question,"...will you repeal the order if you're elected?"
  • He says that he'll repeal ObamaCare on day one of his administration. But when asked what he supports to replace it...no answer.
  • When asked what to do about the damaging spending cuts, particularly to defense, and the broad tax increases that will result on January 1, 2013 from the failure of the Super Committee, he says "....wait until after the election."
Don't get me wrong, Obama's campaign isn't any better, any more specific. We're being presented with a choice between two candidates for the most powerful position in the world, neither of whom have the cajones to state the ideas they will support and press for change.

Could this request be the result of the latest Quinnipiac Poll in Florida which shows President Obama up four points compared with last month's poll which showed Mitt Romney up by six points. That's a ten point swing in just a month's time.

Mitt Romney is speaking to the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials in Orlando at noon today. Hopefully we will get to hear what Mitt Romney's plan on immigration is today, almost a week after President Obama's announcement in the Rose Garden.

there have been no specifics on anything for the last 4 years hence the general partisan loyalists (both sides by the way) are trained to not need them.

There cannot be very many gullible folks out there that really believe that any improvements in FL are related to anything from Obama in any way.

Yes, he gets credit ONLY because it is on his watch. There is no link to anything from Obama.......good or bad.....as designed by the Obama administration.

If one ever decided to become a democrat do they have to take an oath and or training in the communicating technique of name calling?

To VK this is a sales pitch the run for president why tip your hand to the other salesman of what you offer. They will take your idea and beat you to the sale. obama already has done this with other people.

Most notably to Osama Bin laden and most of the al-qaeada leadership.

The Villager II: You are correct and the facts are that the recession ended in 2009 yet we are in deeper economic trouble now than before Obama took office. So I am certain Sgt Joe would agree that Obama has shown the job is too much for him. He has continually failed even though the Democrats have been in control for sometime and he has not produce a single plan or policy that benefits our society. Robert Klein was spot on in his book The Amateur

Mitt Romney is smart in collecting data, understanding attitudes and sending up trial ballons before the commencment of the Republican convention. His message will be clear ,logical and appeal to most voters and most of all delivered before they go to the polls. Romney unlike Obama is not prone to bloviating because he has no ego but does possess the confidence and experience to know when to promote more of the details of his policies at the appropriate time .

So why are the liberals so critical because they have Obama and hence have not had the opportunity to see an experienced professional at work .
