Water Wizard Irrigation Inc

I had a strange experience with Water Wizard about a month ago. I asked a friend for a recommendation for a company that could replace a few broken sprinkler heads. He recommended Water Wizard. I called and they came out promptly.

I did not ask on the phone if the service call to see what I needed was free or not. It was NOT. It cost $55 for a half hour. Well, I told them to get to work. They finished up in about 45 minutes and charged me for the first half hour only. That was good. They replaced several sprinkler heads quickly and tested everything. Okay with that, too.

However, when digging around a couple of sprinkler heads, they cut my COMCAST cable in half. I did not realize it until later when I tried getting on the phone. COMCAST came out the next day and repaired it - luckily at no cost.

Water Wizard was not careful in their digging but I would recommend them if you keep an eye on them.

Robbers

I just had them set my timer. Took less than 10 minutes and I was charges $ 65.00. They will never get another call from me or the people that I know. I told them what I thought and got no reply or satisfaction. If you need help talk to a friend, Not them!!!

Minimum Service Fees Are Not Bad Business

Lots of service companies charge a minimum for a house call. Most of those then apply that to their total bill for the services that were rendered. Those companies are paying their rep to drive to your home along with about $.50 per mile in transportation expenses.

It is not fair to expect a business to incur unreimbursed expenses to come out and diagnose your problem only to have you fix it yourself or go doctor-shopping with your "free" diagnosis. On the flipside, it is incumbent on these companies to inform their customer in advance of their service call policies.

Do a Google search on your timer...................you will find step by step instructions on how to set.
