Village of Bonita

We are looking at a home in the village of Bonita. What are the pros and cons of this village? I am coming to purchase a house next week. We live in Guam but will be moving to the villages by mid September! We can not wait. We are having to most of the leg work on the Internet so a heads up on this particular area would be great.

We love Bonita. When we closed on our house 5 years ago we were told itwas in the middle of everything. At the time it was hard to understand as we seemed very far south. Now when Brownwood is built we WILL be in the middle if The Villages. Nice and close to all the stores at Colony Plaza. Rec centers Colony and Truman are so close. Others not much further. We are a short ride to Sumter. Im sure you will love it here.

I also live in the Village of Bonita and agree with Avista. It is very centrally located with easy access to Bacall and Truman Rec Centers, as well as Colony and SeaBreeze Regional Centers. We're also close to six executive golf courses and Havana Country Club is just down the street. I think it's a great location. Good luck finding your home in Bonita. Hope to see you at the postal station some day.

We bought our first home in The Villages in Hadley four years ago and I was thinking that Bonita was built after Hadley. I must be wrong. It is right off Canal Street and Odell Circle and those are main arteries in the south side of town. It has a nice mix of models and close to golf courses and not far from several rec centers and pools. It is pretty close to the newest villages being built south of 466A and just straight north on Canal to Lake Sumter Landing and Lake Sumter. (There is no pee in Lake Sumter)

When you move to Bonita you will soon post on TOTV that it is the best village of all. That is what we all think about our village.

Welcome to a wonderful life.

Bonita would be among my top 3 or 4 potential locations. Very central, close to all the best amenities IMO.

hmmmmm

ok so this may seem like a bad post but.... there are some areas in Bonita that get the smell from the sewage treatment facility. I know that many homes are not affected by it but some are....just sayin....but it is a good location.

What areas of Bonita are you referring to? I live very close to the intersection of Canal and Bonita and have never smelled a thing. Are you maybe thinking that Village of Bonita is also north of Bonita Blvd where the facility is located? That is the Village of Largo. I will agree with you that I have smelled the treatment plant when playing Bacall golf course or occasionally driving north on Buena Vista past the facility. But never from my home in Bonita.

I've lived in Bonita for 3 great years. No smells ever.

Well maybe for a little while after pesticide/fertilizer applications, but that it.

Bonita is a great location and is centered between Spanish Springs and Brownwood.
