Remember Republicans and Democrats
 

I wish we could get back to when two parties was all we had. I am a republican, but I feel the uber conservative have highjacked the party and that is why we are in such a turmoil. God bless the independents that still use their head for something other than a hat rack. I truely feel that if you worship FOX news or MSNBC either one, you are doing yourself a disservice. Open up your mind, and be part of the solution to Americas problems. We would all benifit by debate and stop being either a HARD LEFT LIBERAL OR HARD RIGHT CONSERVATIVE. If you are HARD you are NOT HELPING. In my opinion.

His Tale Is Very Telling
 

In my view the problem is more that in some aspects Bush ignored the tenets of conservativism but mostly that the radical liberals were able to wrestle total control of the reins. Conservatism practiced does not level the kind of damage being done presently. Further it is exacerbated by the fact that we have a man in charge who is operating too often by fiat. He does so because he is an idealog. He spent his youth in places like Kenya. In youth is where we form our strongest belief. When arriving in america he spend manmy years associating with radicals like Ayers, Wright, etc He has both a foreigners and radical view of what America is and that is what drives him.
Even many in his party are now distancing themselves from him.

It takes a period of time to discover who a person is and what he is up to for some, perhaps many but the past actions you leave begin to weave that tale and his tale is very telling.

I opine others can decide

I think I understand what your saying and if I do, I would like to add, that when we insult the other party, we tend to forfit support from those on the fence. Example: Whenever I try to reach out, I am slurred with YOU ARE A DUMB LIBERAL type comments. As GOD is my witness, I have been a Republican voter all my life. It is like Mom used to say, don't cut off your nose to spite your face.

Well said. The far right has really turned me off, as an independent voter, with thier take no prisoners and make no compromise approach. The far left get under my skin with their we care more attitude, and wild programs and policies. And both wings drive me crazy with their righteous indignation over their rightness and the other wing's wrongness. Then when you find that lobbyists like Abramoff and grover norquist, and money intersts like the Kochs have most of them in their pocket you want to follow VKs proposal and vote all incumbants out on their ear. I get what you say about being labled a dumb liberal, if you don't play right down the line with the far right - welcome to the club.

The crub could get really crowded as that seems where most of the Independents are headed. Sit down and lets have a cool one.

The "far" leanings are what sells on cable news and talk radio. They pump it up to increase their profits.
