Anyone Lose a Black Cat
 

We live on Rain Lily Loop in Sanibel and a young short haired black cat has come to our lanai screen door in the evening crying and wanting in. It has been here about 3 times in the past couple of weeks. We have 2 cats. Not sure it wants in to see the other cats or is searching for a place to call home. Needless to say the cats do not like this intruder and hiss and growl at it but it still cries to get in. Will be contacting some of my neighbors to see if they know who may have lost a cat. I am a sucker for kitties and so don't want to "turn it in". Hope someone here recognizes their lost cat.

You could post a notice on the mail boxes and also notify the Villages Radio Station about the cat. They make announcements about lost animals and often reconnect them with their owners. Good luck! I hope you find the owner.

Lost male, Long hair cat, golden green eyes, white face and chest, black body. 5 lbs, 4 years and 2 months old. Comes to the name Kitty or Kittyboy.

Lost 6/19/2012. In the Villages near the intersection of Ridgeville Rd. and Homer Avenue.
