Where to find plants??

I am looking for a few plants for my home and wonder if anyone knows where I may find quality artificial plants, need kind of a larger one for a corner. Also, am also considering a live plant. Not ever having live plants in Florida, is it an issue with bugs to have live plants indoors? Thanks.

I just bought a real looking artificial 6 ft tropical tree ( the bark on it looks sooooo real) at Home Goods in Winter Garden. It was $80. Other stores had similar trees priced $200-$250.

Go to Dockside in Leesburg on Rt 27. Go south on 441/27 and when 441 goes to the left stay straight and it's in the plaza on right at 2nd traffice light. They also have a website.

A lot of Florida plants for indoors are tropical, so they need some humidity etc. Sunshine and A/C can make humidity, and putting them in the right position helps. I'm not very familier on Florida house plants, but if you buy plants that are sold for house, you can't go wrong. I try to buy plants that can florish outside in pots also, in case I go away for a few days. Of course we have good neighbors who would baby sit plants if we are away. I usually put pots outside in area of sprinklers in front, during the right weather. (Not frost weather) I don't really have many potted plants, except a lot of geraniums. Some tropical plants need to be cleaned off, every so often, or leaves oiled, for shineness. A good Nursery like Fairfield Farms can direct you in right direction. Also don't forget The Plant Clinic on mondays at the Sheriffs annex. Good luck. :D:BigApplause:
