We saw a coyote the other day

As we were riding on that little road behind the Fresh Market, to the right, there is a field with giant rolled up balls of hay. There was a coyote on top of one of the bales. He'd jump off then run and jump onto another one. I've attached pictures. The homes in the background are, I believe, Bison Valley or maybe that other tract of homes that are not part of The Villages?

And speaking of Bison, we were in the Banner Mercantile last night and saw a postcard of the Bison. Does anyone know where they are actually located?

Definitely a coyote. We tried AZ last winter instead of The Villages......saw a total of 13 in our neighborhood, most in our backyard. Back to The Villages this winter....I can handle the occasional coyote in a field but in our backyard freaks me out.

Saw 2 coyotes

About 3 months ago in the dark of night, two coyotes ran in front of our car. It shocked us when they turned up in our headlights. They were crossing the road from the Ashland pond (the one that had the sink hole) to the little pond across the road.
Thinking about it now, those would be good places to catch some shore birds. Also it was late with no traffic. It seems some of the older villages with the more mature landscaping are getting some wildlife.

It's a crying shame that these animals have lost their habitat and are being forced into residential areas. It's a sad situation. The feral cats living on the golf courses don't have a prayer.

On a more positive note, I'm glad to see that Coyote Threads have replaced Dog Doo Threads.

About two months ago we saw two coyotes in the field behind our house in Mera Mesa. Neighbors also mentioned that they saw them too. I tried to take pictures but they were too far away
