A perfect example why NOTHING can get done in Washington:

President Obama's jobs panel missing in action - Josh Gerstein - POLITICO.com

Always the political implications warrant the priority and not the task at hand....hence nothing gets done.

And oh by the way as predicted the "lawmakers are looking for ways to stop the year end automatic spending cuts".....once again the politics warranting the priority. And the results will be the same as the failed super committee....all kinds of reasons for not reducing spending.

We have czars, super committees, special committees like the jobs committee, etc and still nothing gets done.

Words....words....words...and I do really sincerely believe that Obama feels as if he talks about the subject or assigns it to some one or creates a new committee or new czar that he has addressed the issue/problem.....why or how else can there be so many special assignments with supposedly focused responsibility....with no results delivered.

POLITICS and the fiscal spiral into oblivion continues supported by we the people. We the people who sit back and watch do deserve what we get and have gotten to date.

Watch What They Do, Not What They Say

This whole "council" thing brings to mind that we need to watch what politicians do, not what they say they'll do.

But this whole President’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness actually causes me to chuckle a bit. In another thread here, people are all agitated because GE's CEO, Jeff Immelt, is the chairman of this council. Of course, we all know that more than half f GE's employees are in foreign countries. Now it turns out that the council hasn't even met for six months. How much damage could Immelt be doing? It's almost laughable how we're so easily manipulated.

Watch what they do, not what they say they'll do. Better yet, watch what really gets done!.

While I do not expect it will happen, I would really like to hear from the usual Obama supporters on this subject. It is something that should not be acceptable regardless the letter after one's name.

Just one time what do you think?

VK's advice is absolutely on target....do you Obama supporters agree?
