Dr. Maria Locher-Claus of Orange Blossom Endodontics
 

Dr. Claus of Orange Blossom Endodontics has performed root canals on my mouth for the past five years. She is an exceptional dentist and a very caring person. On Friday night, a crown came off and I was unable to reach my regular dentist, Dr. Kathleen Williams of Palm Ridge Denistry. I placed a call to Dr. Claus's office, and my call was returned by Dr. Claus immediately. She tried to reach Dr. Williams and was unable to do so. Dr. Claus called me back twice on the matter and then offered to drive from Gainesville on Saturday morning to reglue the crown until I could reach Dr. Williams. She met me at her office at 7:30 am, took xrays, and reglued the crown. She told me she would apprise Dr. Williams of the situation. This is Sunday, 5 pm and I found a call from Dr. Williams saying she was trying to reach me. How many Doctors do you find in this day and Age that go above and beyond the call of duty, as these two dentists do? They are both wonderful dentists and like family to me. If you are looking for a truly professional and caring dentist, these two are the ones. Dr. Claus is located at the Dana Bldg behind CVS on Rt. 466 and Dr. Williams is in Palm Ridge Plaza by Southern Trace.

Not to hijack the thread, but one of my neighbors back in Dubuque, Iowa was a Maria Locher (Locher would be her maiden name) who became a dentist. Wondering if this is my old neighbor. She would probably be in her early to mid-40's. Small world if this is the same person who was my neighbor. Glad you had such a good experience. I had my first root canal earlier this year. Hope it's my only one -- they ain't cheap even with dental insurance.

That is my former neighbor from Iowa. She was several years behind me in school, but she has brothers who are close to me in age. It is indeed a small world.
