Cutting and edging costs

What can I expect to pay for a landscaper to cut and edge a lawn for a Designer house?

raynan 07-27-2012 12:17 PM

We have a Gardenia on a corner lot and we pay $45 to Tri-County for mowing, trimming, edging, weeding and blowing. Have had them almost 2 years. Very reliable.

before you hire "lawn guy"

try and get someone that push mows, heavy mowers are tough on grass especially when they whip those mowers around and do hair-pin turns....
We do our own, so can not help you with a referral but check with your neighbors and I'm sure they will give you a good recommendation. Welcome to paradise!

You might mention that the $45 is per MONTH! Cheap! In Indy, we paid that amount each week.:a040:

I agree. I did my own until this year and while the gu does a good job there are those little odds and ends that get ignored.

AB Landscaping want s my business. They use walk behind mowers vis a vis riding mowers, do trim, weeding, etc. Does anyone have experience with this company. Just a recommend or not recommend will do.

Thank You

Between $40 and $45 per month. That is 12 months a year.

we have a premier with 1/3 acre.$50 per month for 12 months even thought the grass is not cut in the winter except once every 5-6 weeks. For cash flow they bill year round. I couldn't "cut it" with a push mower in this heat...

jimbo2012 07-28-2012 07:44 AM

How often do they or you cut it in the summer weekly every other week?

asianthree 07-28-2012 07:53 AM

:(a patio or a cyv is costing $40 and we don' really have a lawn

DebbieB 07-28-2012 11:27 PM

We pay $55 a month, get lawn cut, trimmed and weeds sprayed. I use Lawn Pros, he push mows and cleans up the grass clippings. I like that he doesn't "shave" my grass, keeps it a 2", in this heat, shorter than that just burns up. In spring/summer months, it's once a week, haven't been here for a winter yet, so will see what happens then.

I have a cottage & pay $45.00 per mo. for cut, blow & edge; call STELLAR, they use hand mowers to save your sprinkler heads.

MarieG 07-30-2012 09:17 PM
