Stonecrest Golf Course
 

I recently used my credit card to pay the green fees at Stonecrest and was over charged but it did not show on my reciept. I was informed that this was standard practice and that is the way their computer is set up.

Standard practice is to overcharge? Am I missing something?

Maybe you mean your copy did not have the total, if so did the copy you signed have a total? If you think you were charged incorrectly call the credit card company and dispute the charge.

For folks new to the area. Stonecrest is off campus. Not part of The Villages. Very close to us. Just northeast of 441/27.

I believe GG was just pointing out that Stonecrest CC isn't in TV so as to not confuse those who are unaware of that fact.

We have some folks here get off course (pun intended) I am interested in why the OP believes he/she was overcharged and not the location of the course. did the golf course over charge the customer?

Surcharge for Villagers ??????

Golf Fees off campus are normally very competitive with The Villages and during prime season off campus normally beat out TV and that inludes being charged for a golf cart. So if the OP is correct it is something else
