Garage Door Repair

Hi:

Our spring broke in our garage door and it was so heavy we couldn't get it open. Both our car and golf cart were trapped inside. We called Garage Doctor of Orlando (a TOTV sponsor) and they were here within an hour and a half. Replaced both springs with 2 new heavy duty springs. I guess our garage door is hurricane safe and was extremely heavy. They did a great job and were very professional and friendly.
They have 24 hour emergency service

That's odd that you say that. They first put on some other springs and they wern't quite strong enough to open the door. Then they changed to another type of spring and they worked great.

Based on how tall the door is, either 7foot or 8foot doors " foremost residentials " you can only wind them a set amount of times to have a balanced door. or it won't operate!!! SO DON'T OVER WIND them untill it works temporarily, because that's all you're going to do is have a temporary fix! If you have any more questions please do not hesitate to call the office at 407-796-2349 or post a question on here and I will respond in a timely manner thank you.

I really appreciate your company doing it right. Thank you so much. If the installer had done it correctly the first time, it would have lasted as long as it should have. I would recommend your company without a doubt.

I believe those springs have a life of approximately 7 years under "normal" use.

It's not a good idea to walk under the garage door when it is being operated.

Good experience

I also had a good experience with Garage Doctor of Orlando. Quick service and now have a system that isn't vulnerable to other people's remotes being able to open the doors.
