Antique Garden Tractor Club

My wife and I are planning on possibly moving to the villages within the next 2 years.
One of the things holding me back is that I still like to tinker and enjoy working on old Garden tractors, (Allis-Chalmers and Simplicity) and muscle cars.
My wife is saying that hobby would have to stop......... I'm saying that there has to be some kind of club or activity that would still pacify my interest in this stuff. I do like doing other things, Golf, swimming, exercising, etc.
Even if there isn't such a club there, do they provide you space for meetings, working on projects, etc. if a club is approved?:)
A move to the villages has to work for both of us.

Any recommendations on who I can call at the Villages to get possible answers to my above question?
Thank's in advance,
Jim.....

Never heard of one

The garages are not big enough for your hobby. If you rent a storage unit outside of TV, you would be OK. I am not sure the lawns are big enough to even drive them around the house.

Car show in the Sq every couple months. Bring a classic. Rebuild a golf cart as a John Deere or Simplicity. Ingersoll my favorite

Antique Car Clubs

I'm involved with the Tin Lizzie Club of North Central Florida, which meets monthly at the Perkins Restaurant on Route 466. We are open to members with era cars through the late 30s, or admirers of these cars. There is a very active Model A Ford club, the Model A Ford Reastorers Club of North Central Florida.

There are also The Villages Antique Automobile Club (AACA) chapter, and The Villages Vintage Car Club (VVCC), both of which accept most types of cars. The closest Horseless Carriage Club of America (HCCA) is in Mount Dora, I believe.

All of the above, except the HCCA receive priority entry privileges to the monthly Cruise in at The Villages. You may visit our website here for more information.

I knew there would be someone on here that was familiar with garden tractors.
I have owned 2 Case/Ingersoll garsden tractors, both 222's.
Heavy duty durable machines.
My wife says I should do a golf cart that look's like an Allis-Chalmers garden tractor.
Appreciate your feedback.
