I'm totally new to Talk of The Villages
 

I am seeking information from the experience of residents regarding sales and services offered by hundreds of companies looking to do business with the residents of The Villages. We have been ripped off by several companies and seek a forum to help ourselves and protect others from losing retirement monies that we don't have. Thank you for your help and assistance. We look forward to being a productive member of Talk of TV!

Hi - we're in Mallory and have been here since 2007. Absolutely feel 'married' to The Villages and dedicated to help one another. I'm/we're new to all of this so pardon if we don't quite know what we're doing!

You are doing great. As a Village "veteran" you should have a lot of good wisdom to give to the wannabees and gonnabees on this site. So post away! :wave:

Use the search function at the top of the page to seek information from TOTV members about each company you are considering. There are probably hundreds of posts regarding companies that provide services in TV. If you don't find any info, ask about the company on the board. Someone usually has information about their experience.

Go to the Voting/Tax/Property/Automobile License Registation Office where the Sheriff's office is(Corner of 466 & Morse Blvd). There is a small office there that has a list of BAD businesses/owners,etc. I've been there myself and talked to a person when I got ripped off when I first moved here.

We moved here about two months ago and have found all of our vendors right here. You can read about the good and the bad. This site Rocks, welcome to the group.
