Rules and Restrictions
I have a new home in Sanibel. Does anyone know if we may install an outdoor XM radio antenna on the outside back wall of my house? The antenna would be screwed to the back wall. It is about a foot long with a 6 inch square signal receiver on the end. Wire would run through the wall, into the attic, and fished down to the radio, so that the only thing visable would be the one foot long unit on the outside wall. Has anyone done this?

This is certainly smaller than a satellite dish.

My brother in law had an XM radio that he moved back and forth from Michigan to here in TV with his luggage. Used a portable antenna that sat on his window sill, inside the house. It is a "cottage" style home in Belle Aire and the window he used overlooked the small outside front porch area with a roof overhang. Had very good reception. If you get too much push back from the review board, you might give that a try.
