Looking for a reasonable mower for Patio villa

Hi all. We just purchased a Patio Villa we bought as a rental investment in St Charles. It only has a little grass in the back and 1/2 of one side. Can anyone tell me if they have a similar villa, and what you pay for lawnmowing only. We don't need anything else done to it. Thanks so much! :a040:

Mowing (and edging and running a blower to clear the drive and sidewalk) should run $35-45 per month year 'round.

Bill :)

I have the same situation in St Charles. Don't need it mowed much ( unless it rains a lot). If you find a landscaper and want to share him or get a good deal if he does 2 lawns in the same neighborhood - keep me in mind. Maybe we will get a deal. Thanks!

We had a Villa with minimal grass. I watched the "mowers" come in with a weed wacker to mow the "lawn". We ended up getting our grass taken out and stone put in over landscape fabric. Only thing we had to contend with was weeds which was easy to maintain.

Best solution is stones!!!!! Just leave a little patch in back yard for doggie. (If you have one)

I think the stones is an excellent solution but I thought the cost would take years to make it worthwhile. Do you care to share what the cost was? Are you talking about a patio or courtyard villa?

you have to keep a % of grass in patio villas

Actually I just sold my villa and now have an electric corded mower with bag, less than a year old. I have it for sale for $125, OBO, including a cord (orig price about $250). It's relatively quiet and runs wonderfully. No need to spend $40+ per month for someone else to do your yard, when you can do it yourself, right? :) Call me at 319-431-8489, if your interested, and I can deliver it.

I have an antique Craftsman manual mower for sale with sharp blades. You provide the power. Perfect for small yards. $50. In Piedmont Village - can deliver.
