This may anger you, but I do not think this is an appropriate thread for this forum. This is an advertisement and not political discussion.

Although the same things can be said about many of our posts, I do not think this is a place for this.

Might I suggest a petition, you know the old fashioned way !

I apologize if this offends you or anyone but this just does not feel right.

I feel the post belongs in the political forum as it is a POLITICAL MOVIE. Therefore I did not post in the General discussion as to be POLITICALLY CORRECT!!! HMMM This movie is probably something we all shoud see instead of some of the garbage playing in the movies today.

I also should post under talk of the movies however to keep it "politcally correct" again I posted here.

Gary/Mark Morse are too smart to risk alienating one third of their residents by showing this tripe.

Never said my opinion was unbiased. Yours hardly looks unbiased.

This thread has turned into a real hate fest !!!!

Surprised...nope....I warned them !

I recall a thread called LIBERALS just a few days ago in which a liberal person asked for pm's and not one comment was made in that thread.

Dont know if that means anything or not !

I don't know where you get the idea that it looks like garbage. There are only two reviews up on Rotten Tomatoes, one negative from the NY times (you can count on them if you're far left) and a very positive one from Joe Leydon of Variety. 81% of the reporting audience liked the film. It appears to be a winner although not a large audience film. I do not expect to see it at the top of Box Office Mojo.

Well, if your one third of residents are so smart and unwavering in their views, why would they be so vulnerable and easily swayed by a movie nobody forces them to see??

ALL movies should be broght into the Villages that are political. Even the dumbest ones by Michael Moore. We all should have FREEDOM in this country to see what we want and don't need our retirement community deciding what we can and cannot see. I am more offended by that. If they can bring in the garbage movies (as some have been lately) they can bring in the ones geared toward voters and adults!! Clearly we all can determine how successful they are by our ticket purchases. I AM offended IF this retirement community determnes what will stay out and what comes in. Is this the type of community we really want to live in?? They bring in Woody Allen movies and we all know about him. Let's all stand together on this one, no matter what our party affiliation is if you believe in FREEDOM . Let's DEMAND these type of movies be brough in. Ticket sales will determine whether it stays or goes. What do you all think about this??

I really doubt the politics of this movie are keeping it out of the Villages. They also may plan to bring it here closer to the election.

I would like them to get Lionsgate movies which distribute Michael Moore movies. I have a very low opinion of most of the Michael Moore movies even though I am a liberal I do not like smear journalism all that much. 3:10 to Yuma, the Cadillac Lawyer, and The Hunger Games never made it to the Villages. I assume that this is because the Villages would have to show whatever movies Lionsgate distributes which would include Michael Moore films.
