Jeff Foxworthy - Difference Between Democrats and Republicans

If you ever wondered which side of the fence you sit on, this is a great test!

If a Republican doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.
If a Democrat doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a Republican is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat.
If a Democrat is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a Republican is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a Democrat is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.

If a Republican is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A Democrat wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a Republican doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Democrats demand that those they don't like be shut down.

If a Republican is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.
A Democrat non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.

If a Republican decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A Democrat demands that the rest of us pay for his.

If a Republican reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh.
A Democrat will delete it because he's "offended".

This was amusing - in 2004, the first time I read it.

Amusing perhaps, but absolutely true!

Yes, if you're a knuckle dragger still living in trees.

Now there you go....from one american to another....I assume if we do not support what you support, we are still americans, right ?

Although as you say, we are sort of stupid and such, but we are trying so hard to learn from you !

I just don't get it with you. You just can't help yourself when it comes to calling people names. It must be a lonely dark dreary life you live. It is like you just love to hate.

Can't something just be funny?

Knuckle dragger? Isn't it kinda' standard for the left to resort to name calling? Does the truth hurt? Let me just take the first three observations below.

If a Republican doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.
If a Democrat doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.
Is this true?...or not? Who are the proponents of gun control?

If a Republican is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat.
If a Democrat is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.
Take a current example...Bloomberg wants to ban large sodas in NYC.

If a Republican is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a Democrat is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.
And in this case, the left wants to legalize/recognize homosexual marriage and thereby undermine the basic family unit that has been the cornerstone of all civilization for all of human history...all in the name of currying favor with a clearly identifiable voting block.

It is funny....but like many funnies, there's a healthy dose of truth in it!

There was another thread asking about the difference between the left and the right wing.

I posted that the right (conservatives) are just happier people. The posts on this thread illustrate that nicely.

Anyone who knows a lot of liberals and conservatives will tell you that it’s not a surprise that conservatives are happier. Conservatives love the country they live in, they’re more likely to be Christian, and they take responsibility for their own lives instead of griping that the world is terribly unfair. If you want to be a happy person, you’re more likely to be a happy conservative than a happy liberal.
