The Steelers Have The Toughest Schedule In Football This Year.
Even though they lost Alan Fennaca and their offensive line is aged, I still think the Steelers will prevail. They have a new rookie running back who will complement Willie Parker and of course Big Ben. He's the man..... Go Steelers !

Re: The Steelers Have The Toughest Schedule In Football This Year.
Happydays, you probably are correct about how tough the Steeler schedule is. But team fortunes change so rapidly in pro football, that these schedule projections often prove to be incorrect. For example, at the beginning of the 2007 season, having two games against the previous years 13-3 Ravens appeared to be a really tough games for the Steelers. As you know, the 2007 Ravens were a very inept 5-11 and not formidable at all. At the same time, the Browns appeared mediocre at best at the start of the season, but proved to be tougher competion. So yes, it does look very tough for the Steelers right now, but the reality may prove to be somewhat less daunting.

I took Big Ben for my fantasy football team, and the Pitt defense. I hope they have a bang 'em up year.

Re: The Steelers Have The Toughest Schedule In Football This Year.
Like OJM says, the schedule might look tough now but after a couple of weeks we will see what teams came to play. The preseason looked bad for some teams (read the Patsies - 0-4) that will definitely not play that way in the regular season.
I am liking the talk about extending the regular season and getting rid of these flaky preseason games. The NFL teams can have more inter-team scrimmages to weed out the rookies and save us some boring TV and save us some of the season ending injuries. I have the Pit defense backing up my Jacksonville defense but someone beat me to big Ben. He would have been my backup to Tony Romo. Z |
Re: The Steelers Have The Toughest Schedule In Football This Year.
Steelers looked great last week and Ward and Parker really built up my fantasy points. This week I added the Pittsburgh defense to my starting lineup.
I hope they keep up the good work. Playing Cleveland should be a snap. |
Re: The Steelers Have The Toughest Schedule In Football This Year.
Playing at Cleveland(the dog pound) is always tough but I think they (Steelers) will prevail!

Re: The Steelers Have The Toughest Schedule In Football This Year.
I am thinking 30-3 favor of Pittsburgh. The only thing tough about the dog pound is their breath.
