Rules aren't Rules??
 

"Umbrellas, signs, coolers, and sticks will not be permitted in the event area."

There was an event at Sumter Landing this morning. The Villages media had clearly indicated and repeated rules for the past few days. The above quote from the Daily Sun was part of the rules. When I watched the news reports on TV tonight I saw 'plenty' of signs and 'plenty' of sticks (mostly with flags). What is that all about?

I believe that you couldn't bring in your own signs, etc; the signs you saw were supplied by the developer or the Republican Club IMO.

Friends went and all that you saw were supplied after the folks got inside...or as they were going inside! You better believe they had the security as they said they would.

I did too, and if Paul and or Jean answer WHICH one was the embarassment we will know how they ...um.... feel about things don't'cha know.

I would guess it was the one on the right. She was getting loud and had her finger in the face of the lady on the left.

I just hate it when someone puts a finger in my face lol! just saying..
