Recycle info for new Villagers
 

We just moved here last Monday, and are still sorting through all of the boxes and packaging paper.

Thanks to this TOTV forum, we found a single-sort recycle bin. It would take too many of the clear plastic bags to fit all of our packaging in (for The Villages' recycling), so we had to think of an alternative. The recycle bin is behind the sheriff's office at Morse Blvd. and Hwy. 466, and will accept plastics, bottles, aluminum cans, papers, newspapers, cardboard, and other items listed on the bin. The Villages accepts most of these items for recycling once a week. However, this bin is available "24/7" which is very convenient, especially if you have a lot of these items to recycle.

Hope you enjoy the Villages as much as I have. I have been here since 2005.

Thanks also for the information about the recycling bin at the Sheriff's Annex.
