Another boarding facility to check out (Leesburg)
 

It is a little bit of a drive from The Villages, but there is a new boarding facility by the Home Depot in Leesburg (down past the mall). I didn't even know there were other businesses right next to Home Depot. It is called Pet Lodge and Spa. They were still under construction when I stopped by about a month or so ago. Open now. Looked nice from what I could see. Pets kept inside where it is air-conditioned. Option where they can play together with other dogs during the day....eat and sleep in their individual crates. Or I think you could rent a room just for your dog or dogs where they are not with the other dogs and not in a crate to sleep or eat. I believe they were going to have a cat section, too. I would want to know the owners name. In the past we've had a couple of facilities that weren't up to par and had lots of complaints. Hopefully these are different owners and will do a good job of protecting our pets. Bedtime tails is very close to TV and has a great reputation among Villagers and they advertise on this site as well.

bedtime tales and Cathy (the owner) get our vote....we have been using her to board our dalmatian ever since she opened her doors. We have had our dog there for a couple of days at a time....during 7 day cruises and one 10 day cruise. We like the way Cathy runs the facility and her many years in the veterinary business is also a big factor.
