I am looking for an editor who charges a reasonable rate to edit my memoir. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just a thought, how about contacting one of the reporters at The Daily Sun or an English instructor at a community college near TV.

Are you looking for proofreading, or for someone to offer writing critique? I can proofread the heck out of anything--it's what i did for a living. But I would not consider myself skilled in the critiquing end.

This is what I'm currently doing for a living! I proofread, edit, write, and research. I just finished proofing and editing a book last night and am starting another one this afternoon to finish this weekend. I'm also writing for a blog this morning.
