Where is the best place near TV to buy a washer & dryer? Will they deliver and set them up? Thanks.

:welcome: Lowes. They deliver & install usually within 1 or 2 days. No charge. They will also removde old washere at no charge.

If you are not at the Villages and would like to buy a Sears washer and dryer...
You could pick it out at your local Sears and It will be delivered from their local office (ie Leesburg).

We did that when we were setting up our patio villa.

We bought the Maytag Bravos X washer and Maytag Bravo's dryer at Home Depot and they delivered them and took the old ones. Very happy.

I bought mine at Sears on line. They have nearly every brand. And you can get it the next day if it is in stock.

We just bought online from Lowe's, and they installed and did a great job. We had to order from the Lake County store which is further away (because Lady Lake did not have the units we wanted), but they had no problem coming to TV.

Lowe's, Home Depot, Sears, Best Buy .... there are many places.

My wife checked out Consumer Reports and LG models were very high on the list. HHgregg has the models and they are located close to TV.

We'll be visiting them during our design week.

Lowe's also gives a 10% discount if you're a veteran, saved me $30 on a $300 grill last summer. I also had heard that Samsung makes one of the best washing machines.

We have bought our stove (oven) and dishwasher at Appliance Direct on 441, about a mile south of The Villages. We SAVED a lot of $$$ money, dough, cash by doing that. We are very happy with our purchases and delivery and set-up was comparable to other stores. The man took our washer and dishwasher w/ him. We did not have to pay extra for that.

Ditto on Appliance Direct...ugly store, great prices on appliances and delivery/setup/remove old.

HHGreg is Great. We got it here at Northern VA, they'll match any lower prices for a month and they deliver and install for free. They confirmed that the w/d were available in FL and then we pd. We also bought a TV, and mattresses. They are in Ocala I'm told.

Yes, HHGregg is in Ocala. We bought a TV from them when we first move in. If we were to be inh the market for a washing machine, I think we would probably go to Sears though. We have always had good luck with their Kenmore washers and dryers and they usually rate very high with Consumer Reports.

There is a Sears Distributor store on 441/27 in Bay Lee Plaza near the Texaco Oil changer place.
