Which album features "Hey Jude"?

According to Wikipedia it was originally released as a single.

A tough choice. I'd have to say, The White Album, Sgt. Pepper and Rubber Soul, but once in a while it is great to listen to the early stuff.

Actually, Chick, an album was made in 1970 consisting of songs such as Hey Jude: Paperback Writer, Rain, Lady Madonna, Revolution, Don't Let Me Down and The Ballad Of John And Yoko. The album didn't do that well in sales but there were some great songs on it.

But that was a compilation album released after the Beatles had broken up. It's not considered one of the 13 officially released albums.

Although you could make a case for the Capitol albums that we got here in the States as being official albums, but they really were not. The official albums that were released were the ones int he original post.

Agree with most of your top three but I'd go Rubber Soul, Sgt Pepper, Abbey Road then The White Album.

My complaint with the White Album is the same as the one George Martin had. Imagine if the album was a single disk with just the best songs and Hey Jude which was recorded at that time were on it WOW.

I have a Rubber Soul album I got when I was in Germany. I believe it has the same songs as the Rubber Soul album we have in the States but the order is different.

No such thing as a "best" Beatle album, unless you are talking about Pete.

I was a freshman in college when this album came out. The guy in the next room in my dorm got the album and played it.....and played it.....and played it.......................................Finally one night about midnight I was trying to go to sleep and here came, who --- the Beatles! I banged with my fist on the wall and hollered "go to bed". The thin wall vibrated and I could hear my neighbor's books fall from the bookshelf on the wall. He turned off the music, and I never heard it played that late again. BTW, we remained friends

My favorite i9s Rubber Soul, but it seems Revolver has really stood the test of time.
Also, a special round of applause for "Let It Be....Naked", gosh I know that its not politically correct. However, it does contain the best version of my favorite Beatle song, "Across the Universe".
