Grandbabies visiting next Saturday
 

Hi all:

We have our twin 13 month old girl/boy twin grandbabies visiting next Saturday. Our son would like us to plan some activities for that day. He mentioned Crystal river but that isn't set. Any ideas? Don't want to visit the ocean as they live near the ocean already. Are there any parks outside the Villages or boat rides that children of that age would enjoy?

There is a wonderful state park in Homosassa Springs. You will take a boat trip down the river and then walk around a wildlife area. www.homosassasprings.org. It is wonderful for children of all ages. They have a Manatee shoe and an Alligator show. We have taken all of our granchildren here many times. It is a very well run park and fun to visit.

If they like Sesame Street, take them to Busch Gardens to see Sesame Street Safari of Fun. Our granddaughter had lunch with Elmo and it was a fantastic day!
