Ten most beautiful cars of all time
 

All but three from the 50s and 60s and none past '73. I was thinking the other day What will young people today drive to cruise-ins in 40 years? They better hope the 40s 50s and 60s cars continue to hold up and be taken care of. The cars of today are wonderfully reliable, but not much to look at.

I really liked the 61 Ferrari 250 GT California.

This is a tall order to pick the 10 most beautiful cars. Ferarri's could encompass all 10 spots by themselves, some of the French autos like the Delahaye's, Italian Bugatti's, some of the American "fin" cars of the late 50's like the 59 Caddy, Ford Mustang, Dodge Chargers (68-70), Corvettes, Dusenburgs.

If you ask 10 people, you will get 10 different answers. I don't think I could come up with the difinitive answer .

We agree on that, however I doubt many would name a car built in the last 35 years.

Where's the 57 Chevy Bel-Air?

ABSOLUTLY Kayaker!!!

The 57 Chevy Bel Air was one of the nicest looking cars to come out of Detroit. Even today, 55 years later, it is still one of the nicest at a cruise night or anywhere.

I learned to drive in a '57 Chevy Bel Aire. It was Sierra Gold and Adobe Beige two tone. Not that I remember. :)

You keep hearing that today's youth isn't as interested in cars like they were back in the day. In some ways I can see that.

I used to own a Jaguar E type, it was a great car, but underneath the rust was unbelievable, constant up keep, the carbs had to be adjusted almost everyday.

I was always teased by my friends because I always liked the "boats". We can't forget the 1959 Cadillac Conv. A true American icon. One of my favorites. And the early 1960's Lincoln suicide door sedans. The early Chrysler Imperials were fabulous. Detroit lead the world in those days. My kinda cars!:coolsmiley:

It's a toss-up...the Ford GT40 or the Rambler. That Rambler..one sexy beast.

Things sure are different nowadays when it comes to cars!!!

53-67 now those were cars.

A '65 Pontiac Bonneville, long, low, sexy and you could sneak 2 or 3 friends into the drive-in movies in the trunk. I still have mine for summer weekends.:a040:
