Just rented 4 seat gas cart from Grandma & Grandpa and Scott(Gandpa) indicated that he's adding additional cart to fleet this winter.

Since early 2012, everytime I saw a post on golf cart rentals I copied them to my Outlook folder. The posts MAY be older than that so you will have to check out the information. Since we have always rented homes that included a golf cart, I haven't used any of these businesses myself! The comments are both good and bad and the ones with asterisks received many positive comments! Here is my complied list--


Foremost Insurance insures "personal" golf carts through The Villages Insurance on Del Mar Dr. Cost was $51.66 per year. Their number is 352-753-2280. Poster used All State in December to cover the RENTAL golf cart. Thomas Keedy is the agent poster used. He's at 352-753-1177. As of Dec, they were still covering Rental carts.

* Cart Farm 352-259-9701 (John & Jeni) a family operation. $75 dollars a week, better rates for longer rentals. They drop off/pick-up cart at no additional charge. Carts are insured; cart was fast. Poster thought this was the Jim Followell operation that was turned over to his Son/Daughter. Carts are gas.

Reids Reliable Cart Rental. He delivers cart to you and poster had no problems with his carts. 4-seaters. reidsreliablerentals.com. Someone else didn't like them and said they were unreliable!

Poster said they were easy to talk to over the phone and there was no problem when they requested a cart that would go 23 MPH. (Poster knew that the limit is 19.6) LOL

Your post has helped me twice since Sept! First time we rented 3 carts from Paul - very good service and reliable carts. Today just rented a 4 seater from Don's Golf Cart - we needed it for Xmas - I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to get one! Thank you Don!

Trying to order my golf cart rental for the summer with Jim Followell but unable to reach the land line number listed below even though it worked yesterday. Can anyone confirm that calling Jeni and John at the Cart Farm numbers listed below is accomplishing the same thing?
