Best Course for LSV

We are coming for a Lifestyle visit in September. Which Executive and Championship courses would you recommend that my husband play?

If they haven't changed things, and I know they have some of the freebies, since we did the LSP in 2010, you get two free rounds of golf. Assuming you are staying in the Creekside Cabanas, near Sumter Landing, the closest country clubs are Palmer, Cane Garden, and Mallory Hill. We played Palmer and Cane. I would recommend the country clubs as you will get 18 holes of golf on good courses, while the execs are 9 holes, and much shorter.

The older courses on the north side are in better condition than south of 466.
Mallory and Cane are not in good condition.

I would say Palmer for one and Lopez, Glenview, or Tierra Del sol for the other.

Golf on LSV

Only one championship and one executive round available.
Played Palmer and had a great time..

Watching the JETS game what a bobble by Hill causing an interception OMG.
Only an exhibition game, take it easy Al.

If that is the case, I would recommend Palmer and Becall.

Championship Courses

Palmer, Glenview or Nancy Lopez
(Mallory or Cane is pretty rough shape)

We are comming down for the Life Style Preview Sep 2nd. Was wondering if anyone else from NE is doing the same and looking for other things to do besides golf.

Another vote for Palmer...make sure you play the Riley Grove 9...It's the Villages Signature course..so it's always in pristine condition. As far as executive courses..Pelican is the prettiest & the most difficult...I also like Roosevelt & Truman.

Thanks for the info; Cane was really bad a couple of weeks ago.

If one round has to be an exec. Pelican, Roosevelt, Truman in the south are good choices if staying at Creekside. Palmer Laurel Valley to Riley Grove definitely.

Played Tierra yesterday, greens still haven't recovered from aeration a little over week ago.....bumpy, etc. Stick with palmer, lopez. Bonifay in good shape as of 2 days ago....
