Flooring Options for Lanai

Does anyone have suggestions for my lanai? I have an extended lanai so have a section under cover and a section under just screening. I am considering cool decking, like around a pool but don't know anyone who does it. Can anyone provide information? Thanks!

One option you may consider is a decorative concrete coating which allows you a very economical way to dress up your floor without spending a fortune. At my last home I selected this option which made it look like we had tiled the floor but this option was much less expensive. They apply the coating in two steps and then seal it so it's washable and yet very attractive. Several vendors are available such as Custom Ram Design and Aristocrete, both of which I have used for different projects and would recommend.

We have river stone or pebbe deck flooring and love it. It looks naural and allows rain water to soak in since it is semi-porous. It does not stain, is not slippery when it gets wet like tile and is easy to clean. Check it out as there a number of contractors who do this.

Don't you have to put a sealer on that flooring every other year?

No. My installer said sealer not necessary

I agree, you don't need any coating on this as it is sealed in epoxy.

Cheaper than tile... call Paul Reimer at Midstate Stone, 245-1990. He'll show you some samples and give you a free estimate.
