Why are my posts being deleted ?

I recently post 2 responses on ASK the experts ===Title insurance

both responses have been deleted ---there were no problems with the posts or wording ---

Would like to know why ??

Thanks

Ask the Expert

A reminder that Ask the Expert a Legal Question is a forum where members of TOTV, have the opportunity to ask legal questions and receive answers from Hunt Law Firm. It is not a general discussion forum.

ok thanks ----even though the answer was incorrect ---

I think the whole idea of not having discussions within the Ask the Expert forums isn't really working out to meet the users needs or desires.

Also many people make the error in responding, so it is not clear enough that you can't participate
.

Maybe time to rethink those rules, the expert can perhaps have the option to delete a post but why can't other users comment.

Sometimes it's days before an answer is found.

Any thoughts on that?

Other users most likely are not experts.
And on any thread there a lot of so called experts giving their opinions, often with no facts to back up that opinion.

If you have a question why not post it both in the ask the expert forum AND the appropriate discussion forum. That way you get all the answers.

I was wondering what happened to my response, also...Guess I know now.

Was wondering where mine went as well. Kelsie 52, I totally agree with you that the answer given was incorrect without knowing all the facts. The buyer ask about a NEW home purchase. Didn't mention if it was just new to them or NEW construction. I took it as NEW construction and with that said, found the answer to be incorrect.

If a user wants to ask a question and get a general response they can do so in forums outside of an 'Expert' forum. The 'Expert' forum responses are only to be from the designated expert for those areas and all others will be deleted. Each 'Expert' section is labeled as such and that only the designated expert should respond and if a response from a non expert has been deleted it is customary that a message is left that it is an expert section and only the designated expert should respond. We can't answer why when a message is there that it is a designated area for the expert only to respond that non experts still respond.
