I'm Rocky. My wife Jackie & I currently live in the Baltimore area. Jackie's mom & dad live in TV, Belvedere to specific. We'll be arriving later this week to spend some time with them and purchase a home here. We have a pretty good list that includes some homes in TV and a couple of the surrounding communities. Looking forward to joining you.

Just keep in mind that homes in TV come with a lifestyle attached to it. :smiley:

You'll find more of a home for less money outside TV but not the lifestyle.

I have a house in Buttonwood and one in Havre de grace

Come on down Rocky you will love it, it's a lot better than Baltimore.

We also live in Belvedere Village, it's a great location, very convenient. If you're retirement age, you'll love TV. If you're younger with a family, there are some great family homes just north of Belvedere Village on CR 101, just outside the TV boundary.

First thanks to all for the welcomes! I am just over the "55" line, my wife is not yet, nor will she be for several years. Our children are grown & on their own now. We will both be following our careers after our move south, but we want to settle ourselves into a 55+ community. Our desire is to be closer to her mother & dad at this point in their lives.

TV may not be the best retirement community in the country but its way ahead of whatever is in second place. Enjoy your visit and happy house hunting!

We just returned from our house hunting expedition. We spent 2 weeks with my wife's parents in TV. We wound up buying in Stonecrest, although with Jackie's mom & dad living in Belvedere, we'll be around a lot.

Again, welcome! You are lucky to be able to move to TV so young and bring your careers with you. You will be very ensconced in a short amount of time.
