Late model Mustangs

Has anyone purchased a late model Mustang? Looking at a 2013 V6 convertible. Would love to hear about yours, good and bad. Thanks

Only looked at the Ford Dealer. As the grandson says "SWEET"! Wife has a 95' Mustang Conv. with low miles and won't give it up! I do like the 95' body style.

We have a 2012 Candy Red Mustang that we bought last September and absolutely LOVE it!! It is a convertible and Florida is the perfect place in which to have one. It's a 305 V6...lots of power, but still gets decent gas mileage, particularly on the highway. We get 29-30 mpg. And contrary to the way it looks, we can easily fit two people in the back seat. It's a great car!!

Purchased ours from Key Scales in Leesburg. Ask for Fred...he'll get you a great deal!

Getting out of the back seat is another issue!

Here is an article about potential future of Mustang design:

Will European sales plan kill the Ford Mustang as we know it? | Fox News

I wouldn't mind seeing one like the Evo concept car with a high horsepower, high performance, high mpg 4 cylinder engine.

The Mustang convertable with the V6 is number 1 on our list when we become fulltimers in TV. We own a villa here and also a home in CT that we are in the process of getting ready for sale. We will be downsizing our "fleet" and selling our 4 wheel drive pickup and AWD Ford Escape. Guess the possibility of snow in TV during the winter is rare :)

My son has an 03 Mustang GT that I enjoy driving any chance I get. The car is very comfortable to drive and I do enjoy hearing the growel of the exhaust. He did some modifications to the exhaust and some minor engine mods for additional power. The acceleration ramps when entering a highway are especially fun :)

The car has over 95000 miles and has been virtually trouble free. Brakes, battery, tires and oil changes were the only expenses that my son incurred.

Then there are the killer looks of his body style and the new body style as well. Good luck with your purchase.

It sure sounds like the new Mustang is a winner. I've always liked convertibles. The 300 :crap2: V6 sounds like it would have more than enough power, good fuel economy, and just the right size for two cruising The Villages. Thanks for the replies.

Go for the Shelby.

I'm a poor folk. Unless "Uncle Carroll" is buying it for me, I can only dream.

2013 Review of Mustang 6

Automobile magazine just published a review of the new Mustang 6. You might be interested in their experiences. By the way.....no more growl.

And probably void any factory warranty....Or at least offer them(certain dealerships) an opportunity to disallow certain warranty claims...From experience...

I bought a new 2010 convertible just before I moved full time to The Villages and I love it. It's also "Candy Apple Red", a chick magnet! I've only had 1 issue with it. The vinyl top cracked a little on a bead that runs above the windows. The Florida sun is murder on the top. Ford replaced the top without question. Oh, and my brother is stuck in the back seat!
