I was directed to your interesting site when I wanted to investigate how authentic the National Breast Cancer Research Center was. A solicitation had been sent in the mail, so I went to Google to see what information I could obtain. The posting appeared from The Villages letting me know that only a very small percentage of funds collected actually go to research for cancer!!Thank you so much for "setting me straight" on this fraudulent organization!

In this case, the National Breast Cancer Research Center is actually the Walker Cancer Research Center in Aberdeen Maryland. The state web site says 47% of every dollar you donate goes to the stated purpose of the organization, 51% goes to fundraising efforts, and 2% goes to administrative costs. They are licensed to solicit in Florida under Registration Number CH47, which expires 12/02/2012.

Take a look at this link as National Breast Cancer Research Center is not the only one that only gives a very percentage to the actual cause.
