Medical Insurance
 

My wife and I are looking for medical insurance for the four months of each year we spend in TV.

It needs to be readily-acceptable by the Villages Regional Hospital, and other local healthcare providers, as we don't want any problems in getting valid claims met.

Any suggestions as to whom, in TV, we should approach?

Your current medical ins. is probably accepted here....I have BCBS here in Indiana and when I went to the hospital there, I had no problems ..

A Medicare supplement is good at any Medicare approved facility

we have great insurance at home but when we travel you will have to take out a second mortgage to pay for the bill

I was thinking the same that OP was from Canada, no? If so, I it was my understanding that you could buy insurance in Canada that would pay while in U.S. Perhaps we have a Canadian member TOTV who can answer your question.
