Yeah, I just saw that in the news on Yahoo. Sad deal.

It's interesting how some people have had such a "quiet influence" over so many things we all have come to take for granted.

Who can ever forget his early films that probably made us all NFL fans. The frozen breath of the Dallas defensive line as they dug in to try to stop Bart Starr and the Packers. The slow motion film of great passes and catches. The bloodied warriors of the interior lines. He was a master. RIP.
