This is Heidi. She is one of the Georgia Dozen that FLDR took in. They were rescued from a George breeding facility. Below is information on her. Keep in mind that FLDR also has a Seniors for Seniors program...if you are 62 years old or older and the dachshund is 10 years old or older the adoption fee is only $95. That money goes toward vet bills, shots, dental work, medications, spaying or neuturing, etc. Some of the dogs they take in have medical bills that run in the thousands of dollars, so the adoption fees are quite reasonable. Heidi was one of the Georgia breeder doxies. She is a sweet, lovable dog that just needs a great forever home that will love her as much as she will love them.

Since she was a breeder dog, she was kept in a kennel outside most of her life, having puppies. Now she loves being in a home. She also loves dogs & people and will make a great pet.
Heidi is healthy, UTD on vaccinations and ready for a forever home. She is working on house training, since she was never trained before. But, she is doing well so far.
