May I add that both Kathie and Villages 07 have been instrumental for many years in attending lunches, posting pictures, and helping Newbies with friendship and advice. Hats off to both of them. :bowdown::bowdown:

Correct, eating is optional. The purpose of the gathering is for fellowship.

3pm was selected by the original planning group of TOTV'ers, because noontime is very, very busy at Crispers and since we are sometimes a very large group and want to set up our seats for better conversation, we chose that time to allow us to "almost" have the place to ourselves. Also, we give the cooks and servers and break during the less-busy time.

Unfortunately, I don't think eating is an "option" because we are taking up there space and they are there to make money, so we should at least have a drink or dessert..... I think that's only fair.

Thanks Barefoot for the complement, but I do believe you were one of the original people helping us to set up this monthly event, so we 'THANK YOU' in return. Wish you could be here.

Absolutely, a great time today at Crispers. I loved it... So many newbies and oldies.... lol... Great fun, everyone in a circle introducing themselves and getting acquainted with each other. How wonderful... Aren't we all lucky!!!!
I recruited 2 new members who were sitting inside to join the forum, but couldn't get them to come outside to join us.. Nice to see ya'll. Can't wait until all the snowbirds come down.
