Wish I could still play the instruments I have in the past. They include an accordion, tenor sax and 1, 2 and 3 valve brass bugles. Today I play a Casio keyboard, but I don't play publicly; just for myself and occasionally for visiting victims... er I mean guests!

My main instrument today is a Roland FR-3x digital accordion. Back in my youth I played drums but I suspect my neighbors would not be happy if I started playing them again.

I play guitar and sing. I have a Gibson J-160e, a Rickenbacker 355 and a Limited Edition Epiphone Casino.
As you might guess from that, I used to play in a Beatles tribute band. I started the Beatlemaniacs of the Villages down here, which is a club for Beatles fans and musicians.
I would love to get a little band together to gig around the area.
By the way, I also play drums. I began playing drums when I was nine years old and played in a professional band for about ten years. Then I quit to raise a family. I still have a set os 1966 Ludwigs, but they are up north. Hopefully, my son will send them to me soon.
Outside if the Beatles stuff, I did a little acoustic solo act in the Philippines playing a mix of classic rock, country and a few more current things thrown in.
Oh....I've also falle in love with the ukulele.
We have a lot of great music clubs here in the Villages and a lot of outstanding musicians. I'm sure you will find plenty of people to play with.

I have a 63 Epiphone Casino (made in Kalamazoo and now midi'ed)...a 83 Rick 360-12...2 strats (one midi'ed)...a godin (midi'ed)...in terms of acoustics...a Collings OM..a 2000 Martin D-28 (midi'ed), a 1972 Guild F-112, and a little maple Taylor...all are lefty.

I'll be bringing the Taylor with me (it's the most replaceable acoustic) when I come down on Monday. If interested...maybe we could play...I have an interesting version of Walrus in DADDAD which you might want to liberate.

I play alto sax (Yamaha Custom Z) in the New Horizons Concert Band, Yamaha Tyros 3 keyboard, ukulele (Applause roundback acoustic/electric), banjolele, am learning bass guitar(Fender musicmaster from 70's) and will probably play some autoharp if the new group starts in October as planned. Music is a hobby with me.

You should plan on coming to the advanced acoustic guitar club on Tuesday morning, 9:00 at the Churchill rec center. Gary Davis runs it and is a great player and teacher.
And then come to my Beatles Club on Friday morning at 10:00 at the O Dell rec center and do your alternate tuning version of Walrus. The people would love it.

Tuesday, I'm meeting with Gary from TV to look at homes (and I already have a fave...assuming it's still available)...do they meet every Tuesday?

BTW - the reason (aside from ego) that I have so many instruments is that I use a bunch of alternative tunings....I try to limit re-tunings to breaks...on stage, going from a C tuning to a D tuning takes forever...you tune once...let the neck relax and then tune again....not exactly a crowd pleaser.

Howdy, I play the harp, currently mostly for therapy in medical settings.Also play for weddings, dinners, etc.

I play the piano which I just moved here. Can anyone recommend a good piano tuner?
