People Behaving Nicely
I see too many negative posts about the place that i live and love. Just wanted to relate a very happy one. We went yesterday to Comcast across from the "Old Walmart" next to Stonecrest. When we arrived to drop off our equipment there were at least 19 others there to conduct business and only one employee. Instead of hot tempers and complaining, everyone was actually in a very festive mood. Fellow customers that sat close to the door would say " welcome to comcast" as people entered and directed them to the back where they would sign in.
One nice young lady would call out who was on deck and who was up after them. Everyone was friendly and orderly and no one was complaining to the lone worker that after we waited an hour did finally get a helper. All in all we waited about an hour and a half, but it was worth it to see that people can still act like "nicely" under adverse conditions. jeff |
Nice to hear...an hour and a half is a long time to wait but it's good to hear everyone was in such a great mood. Think of the poor lone employee who had to deal with all that was going on. I'll bet at the end of the day they were happy it was over...and were thankful that it was Villagers that they were dealing with.

Thanks for a nice post! I'll bet that one lone employee was amazed!

It could only happen in TV!

Not to stray from the original post....but....when my parents got rid of Comcast, Comcast sent them a self addressed UPS box and they packed the equipment in it brought it to UPS and away it went.

Only in TV kiddies....... would this happen........

what the OP represents is an example of the character of the more than 95% who live here.
It is unfortunate this forum, like the daily news usually paints a picture based on the 5% who will always be impolite, rude, nasty, in a hurry, disrespectful, etc.....and erroneously present these 5%ers as what TV is like. We in the 95% know better. btk |

Arrived at office today (Wed) at 2:20. Guess what? Small sign in window stIated that they were closing today at 2 for interior renovations. Door was locked and people were still inside waiting. Customer Service? In the few minutes It took me to get my anger under control at least 4 others walked up and tried the door, it was not a happy place.:crap2::shrug:
