new Preferred Care Partners plan[United]

Now that we know the details of the new Preferred Care Partners plan offered by United Health Care, does anyone having any thoughts. What do you like ,dislike etc.I don't like the $40 co pay for urgent care but I like getting back $99 rather than $75.

The tier 2 and 3 prescription drugs are a lot highr than before. Specialist co-pay is higher also. But overall the plan sounds pretty good to me.
I did some comparing yesterday online and did not find anything better for us. Just have to find out now if our drs are in the plan.

My only problem with this plan in the past has been that most specialist doctors here in TV do not accept it. I must go to Ocala for a Rheumatologist and Retina doctor and my husband for a E.N.T.

By saving the $288 annually (which you like) you'll be able to pay urgent care at least 7 times during the year. A very good trade off in my opinion.

My hubby is very happy with Dr Maizell at Mid Florida Eye for retina specialist. I have noexperience with rheuma or ent so cant tell you about that.

Does Mid Florida Eye still accept Preferred Care? I heard that it didn't.

I have been doing some detailed research and PCP is looking better all the time.

I see a rheumatologist in Ocala....they're on PCP and they came highly recommended even b/4 I had signed up with PCP. It's Dr. Miguel Rodriguez's practice. You can find them in the PCP website or their provider book.
