old computer for parts
 
Do computer repair places buy old computers for parts? I have a computer that I took out the hard drive but the dvd and rewriteable cd drives and everything else is fine.

Give it to The Villages Computer club. They will use the parts from yours and others to build a computer and donate it to someone local.
